Zero Emissions Day: our strong commitment to the goal

Once again, this year we join all other countries, globally, with a commitment to reduce CO₂ emissions. Inspired by the goals of the European Union, we are committed to achieving net zero targets by 2030.

To meet this ambitious goal, we have taken the following actions:

Zeroing of emissions
We have decided to aim for zero emissions from corporate mobility by introducing 100% all-electric cars in our corporate fleet by 2030. We are not giving up the commute that makes us closer to our community of customers and colleagues, but we are choosing to do so in a conscious way.

Renewable energy
We have for years now made the sustainable choice to purchase only and exclusively from suppliers who guarantee 100% certified renewable energy for all our locations. For us, this is a small step in the right direction for a contribution to the environment during the daily operation of all our activities.

A greener way of moving
We introduced the Green Travel Policy, which came into effect in 202. It provides a set of rules governing business travel within the Company, both in Italy and abroad, and guidelines to provide business travelers with indicators and knowledge on practices that offer less environmental impact, encouraging the use of alternative solutions, as well as sustainable options for travel.

Zero Kilometres fruit
For years we have been engaged in a journey of psycho-physical wellness education for all our people. The project also includes diet education, accompanied by concrete actions. One of these actions is the provision of fresh fruit for our coffee breaks. The icing on the cake? All our fruit is seasonal and zero kilometers, purchased from local suppliers.

Carbon offsetting
Since 2019 we have been collaborating with Treedom, with whom we have planted 1.819 trees, creating a Terranova Forest, offsetting 350.53 tons of of CO₂. We intend to continue this collaboration, with a five-year plan to plant 500 trees per year.
