Baku Energy Week
Baku Energy Week recently brought together three major events: the 28th International Caspian Oil & Gas Exhibition, the 11th Caspian International Energy and Green Energy Caspian Power Exhibition, and the 28th Baku Energy Forum. Over 300 companies from 37 countries attended, showcasing the latest trends and innovations in the energy sector.
A key focus of the week was renewable energy, with Azerbaijan leading the way. Projects like the Garadagh Solar Power Plant and new investments totaling 1,000 MW in capacity highlight the country's progress. Additionally, Azerbaijan is planning for offshore wind energy, with the Caspian Sea offering a potential of 157 GW. These efforts show Azerbaijan's commitment to sustainable energy.
For Terranova, which creates software for smart metering (gas, water, electricity), these developments are exciting. The shift towards renewable energy increases the need for efficient energy management. Smart meters help optimize energy use, reduce waste, and integrate renewable sources into existing grids. This growing demand shows the importance of our technology in supporting sustainable energy.
An interesting trend in the CIS market is the rising demand for ultrasonic meters, presenting a valuable opportunity for our regional expansion. Our expertise and products are well-suited to meet this demand. Attending Baku Energy Week gave us important insights into the latest energy trends and innovations, especially in renewable energy.
The event also highlighted the growing importance of smart metering technology and offered significant networking opportunities. With these insights and connections, we are well-positioned to drive business growth and support sustainable energy initiatives.
